The Apple iPhone is not alone: BlackBerry 9000 Bold reaches the market
The creators of the popular 'BlackBerry' has launched the new smartphone: the 'Bold BlackBerry 9000', which will compete with the 'iPhone' that sells Apple company. RIM is hoping to bank big with the American launch, which is expected sometime in September after many delay due to possible technical glitches/errors.
On Wall Street, investors have enthusiastically embraced the new bid to compete in the mobile phone market and rewarded the company stock with advances higher than 6% to 140.85 dollars. Despite the threat posed to its current dominance in this sector, Apple is noted progress next to 2% to 186.96 dollars.
With a design similar to Apple's product, the phone Blackberry 9000 Bold allows users connectivity triband HSDPA and cuatribanda EDGE. In addition, the 'BlackBerry 9000 Bold ' incorporates wireless local area networks 802.11 a / b / g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth stereo and GPS services autonomously and assisted.
The impressive connection ability makes the 'Blackberry Bold 9000' a worthy rival to the 'Apple iPhone', which recently launched the new 3G version. Although the Blackberry probably won't command the cult following that the iPhone does, it will still be a force to be reckoned with. I can see it now, a glorious battlefield of Blackberry tech heads versus iPhone fan boys. That would be one hell of a battle!
Features
The distinctive feature that best defines the new phone is the huge screen, which has a resolution of 320 x 480 just like the iPhone. Being a little less than the screen of your competitor of the 'Bold BlackBerry 9000' is even better than the Apple phone. The user interface replaces the traditional icons used in other products from Research In Motion in white images on a black background - which happen to look extremely attractive and slick.
The screen, the player and improved multimedia speaker stereo incorporated allow videos with the vision of a quality not known so far. The 'BlackBerry 9000 Bold' also incorporates a 2-megapixel camera with 5X digital zoom that are used by a corporate server.
Additionally comes with a secure integrated 1GB memory, plus 128 MB flash memory microSD/microSDHC.

The Canadian group Research In Motion (RIM) formally presented the new version of the BlackBerry multifunction telephone; Bold is the BlackBerry 9000, which aims to compete more directly with Apple's iPhone. Will it command the massive audience that the iPhone did upon release? Probably not, but we won't know until the American launch, which is set for sometime in September.
Bold The Blackberry 9000 has a screen much sharper than the current model, Curve, with the latest technology. Also, it has a dual purpose - it may be used for work and for recreational purposes.
It has a screen with twice the resolution regarding the previous model, which allows you to have a clearer view. Although it has the same quality, it does not have the size of Apple's iPhone, which has emerged as a strong competitor in the same class.
The U.S. press see the BlackBerry Bold 9000 as a great competitor for the new generation of iPhone, although it does not incorporate touch screen and remains thicker. The new phone has improved the multimedia functions, and incorporates a 2-megapixel camera with zoom, and allows you to play videos.
In a press release, the company stated that the mobile phone, which will be available in black, will be the first device compatible with the HSDPA high-performance networks. They also have Internet access Wi-Fi, GPS positioning system and USB 2.0 connection. The GPS and high speed network capability is a huge draw for techno nerds across the planet.
The BlackBerry Bold also allows the user to customize the look of cellphone housings with some color, which can be blue, brown, green, gray or red. Many aftermarket accessories are emerging as more and more launches take place around the world. With the upcoming American launch, you can bet that there will be accessories up the yin-yang.
The BlackBerry Bold allows, "talking on the phone while sending and receiving e-mails, surf the Internet and download programs and work with Word, Excel and Powerpoint," according to RIM. The unit is also responsible for playing music, viewing photos and videos. It's a pretty sharp device, and will prove to be a hot seller for die hard Blackberry addicts, as well as people who are new to the addictive devices.
